27. September 2008 "WALK with Me" Awareness Walk for Domestic Abuse East Beach Cafe Littlehampton @13:00 P.M. Join Malaika and friends, supporters and survivors on this sponsored Walk. We will eb walking from Littlehampton Beach along the coast to Ferring and back, around 10 miles. This is the second walk in a series of many to follow. To raise awareness, motivate and encouarge victims about this silent crime behind closed doors. Funds raised for this Walk will go toward breaking the cycle of abuse. Malaika is trying to get a copy of her book SHACKLES into each prison in this country, so that offenders see the ripple effect their behaviour has on those they have harmed. |
